Sugar and Spoon: While this edible cookie dough shop isn’t technically ice cream, it falls along the same lines and it was too enticing not to try. The brownie batter definitely tasted like a brownie, which I liked. And as someone who enjoys eating cookie dough more than cookies, the chocolate chip dough was amazing. The dessert was very rich, though, so I was only really able to have a few bites before it was too much.  As a cookie dough lover, I definitely recommend this place— just don’t go if you have a full stomach.

Snack: Bruschetta

REVIEW:

This was a super simple but super delicious appetizer. I used homemade baguettes, which are pretty simple (and you can follow this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m08i8oXpFB0&t=118s.).

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

I cut up the baguettes and stuck them in a cast-iron pan with some olive oil for a couple of minutes on each side. I diced some tomatoes, tossed them with some balsamic vinegar and added them to the top of the baguette slices. I drizzled some olive oil, and voila!

FINAL VERDICT:

These are definitely worth it. Baking the baguettes is definitely worth it — and it’s super easy. You can also do this with store-bought bread, though, and it’ll be nearly as good.
