I’ve loved becoming your friend this year, and I’m so excited to come back and hear you play. To Wilson Ferguson: I leave all the most interesting math problems that you could ever possibly think of. I also leave a lifetime supply of piano composition ideas, keys to write in, and shark teeth and cool fossils. Thank you for being my buddy and friend, and for being so awesome to talk to about literally anything– music, biology, math, physics, gap years. To Jin Hyun, Felix Bai, Leah Berger, Luke Wheeler, Marissa Du and Steve Sfekas: I leave the viola section. Please make sure to recruit as many middle schoolers as possible to our valiant cause. I believe that one day, we will outnumber the cellos. Until then, take up as much of their elbow room as possible. Shove them out of the room if you have to. I’ll miss you guys. I’m so honored I got to work with you this year!!
